Axor has chosen Milan, the Italian capital of design, to open its first showroom in Italy. Exposure of bathrooms is located in the heart of the metropolis: the number 15 of Via Durini Duriniquindici or as the Italians say, a known area of international decor brands . This new space, shared with one of the largest Italian furniture firms Porro , “aims to become brand signature and valuable contact point for architects, designers and end users bathrooms.”
The new home in Italy brand design Hansgrohe designed Ferruccio Laviani and welcomes bathroom design and living room in one space. Next to the minimalist and elegant style Italian furniture manufacturer, the company presents faucet design “made in Germany”. The leitmotif of the showroom as well as being a tribute to water and design, wants to be a place where visitors can experience the fusion of the bathroom with other rooms in the home.
The showroom is a permanent exhibition space that occupies a two-story building. At the bottom, Axor presents its inspirations for the bathroom as a room over the house. The highlight of the opening phase is the presentation of the latest Axor WaterDream, a concept developed in collaboration with the trio of Swedish designers Front Design and Japanese design studio Nendo .
Soon, the brand plans to introduce in this space evocative environments and extraordinary solutions with its flagship collections of bathroom design as Axor Starck and Axor Citterio, and their newer products like Axor Starck Organic. The sample includes a large font that allows visitors to experience sensory form of the product and the design of water in order to get an idea of the performance and quality of products.
The top floor of Duriniquindici is dedicated to the elegant creations of contemporary furniture company Porro. Also, both marks show a selection of his pieces combined design inspiration to those who share his philosophy of modern life that focuses on the fusion of the different areas of the home. For the living room or bathroom, the new showroom offers architects, interior designers and design lovers in general solutions and inspiration needed to create environments of the future.
