Today’s project is an oceanfront house built with the help of the Rolf Ockert Design, an Australian company design based in Clovelly, Australia. It is a House that put architectural problems of pretty serious resistance, and that’s because it’s close to the ocean, on a pretty wet and thus, quite … insecure.
A good portion of the structure is fixed on two poles deep into the rock and soil under rocks, in order to provide safety they need owners and under the terms of a possible avansari of the ocean onto land.
The position of this House is relatively interesting, because the view of the ocean was in the North, or the Sun here and there from the southern part of the House, which has proved to be quite problematic to the extent that the owners wanted a House with natural luminosity as good, and intimacy in the bedroom.
Another impediment was the maximum limit of height, and that because of that the authorities have not allowed the owners to build according to the initial plan, on the grounds that the venue and posterior neighbors should have sight of the ocean, not just those who are located in first line of construction from the shore towards the Mainland.
What’s important is the fact of all the main rooms of the House have views of the ocean, and when I’m writing this, I am referring to the main bath, and in living rooms and bedrooms in main. Then there are several terraces, which are not in the least bit zadarnicesc the view, and that’s because I’m from the solid material. Otherwise, this oceanfront House is a project managed, even if in some industrial influences, has mild although there was no question of this in the House design plans. However, for safety reasons, it has resorted to solid metal stairs, just to give safety in addition to the owners.
